I always look forward to working with Jack. He has an instinctive eye - a magic touch for seeing moments in rushes that are funny or touching or completely unexpected.’
- Jonny Madderson, Director, Hustle & Run

I’m an offline video editor with over thirteen years experience, with recent work being nominated for BAFTA and the Broadcast Sport awards and broadcast on Channel 4, ITV and Sky.

Recent editing work includes the documentary Hustle & Run (Just So / C4) which has been nominated for Best Short Form at the BAFTAs 2026 and won Best Documentary (60 mins and under) at the Broadcast Sport Awards 2025, as well as being long listed for the Grierson Awards 2025. It was broadcast on Channel 4 as part of the 2025 Crufts coverage and is available to stream here.

In early 2026 I finished editing the feature rugby documentary England, Meet England: A Red Roses Story (SBX/O2) which premiered at the Regent Street Cinema and was broadcast on ITV4 in spring 2026 as well as being available to stream on ITVX.

2023 saw me join the team producing the series I Can Do It You Can Too, presented by Aaron Roach Bridgeman. It was broadcast on CBeebies throughout the year. In 2022 I was Lead Editor on the Snap Originals series A Fighting Chance with Anthony Joshua, working closely with director, production team, and client, along with three other editors, to deliver an eight part series for the Snapchat app. A Fighting Chance won Short-Form Content of the Year at the 2023 Broadcast Awards.

In 2020 I edited 512 Hours with Marina Abramovic, about the pioneering performance artist, which was broadcast on Sky Arts, as well as playing at CPH:DOX in Copenhagen and streaming on Mubi. In 2019 I was commissioned by the Barbican to edit The Barbican Mixtape, an irreverent, cut-and-paste journey through the history of the Barbican Estate and Centre entirely made from archive. It premiered in Barbican Cinema 1 and was featured on the Barbican YouTube channel.

I’ve worked on a number of commercial content for clients including Google, Brompton Bikes and Hugo Boss as well as branded entertainment for Lego, 02 and MTV. I have a track record of working on sports content, including documentaries, podcasts and socials and have also cut a lot of child-centred and education films, including for CBeebies, Tate, and The Open University.

I have an eclectic CV and I’m able to get the measure of whatever project I’m working on. I really love the collaborative work that goes into crafting a story in the edit but equally I am very confident working independently to get a film to an assembly or rough cut stage. I have an eye and ear for humour and humanity in rushes which I complement with a strong sense of timing, economy and elegance and a talent for a music-driven edit. I like to root out idiosyncratic and compelling moments that conjure a lasting impact on the viewer. The thrill of placing two shots together on a timeline to see what happens never fades, no matter what the project is. It’s my favourite thing to do and I edit footage most days, even on my days off.

In my spare time I make short experimental films and documentaries about landscape and place. You can watch them here.

I work on Adobe Premiere Pro and Avid Media Composer, and sometimes use Adobe After Effects and DaVinci Resolve.
